when ships are sinking

Do you get off a sinking ship, or go down with it?

I think that depends on who and what you're trying to salvage. If you go down with a sinking ship, then you're prepared to lose everything. You are taking that great leap of opting to stay with it, no matter how fast or slow it sinks, you just hang on, knowing that no matter what, it's the end. The sad thing about this is the fact that you're aware of the consequences and can see it coming. Either utter stupidity, great love, undying loyalty or pure guilt is keeping you on that ship. Or has been keeping you there.

Then if you do get off the ship, you could also be called a number of things ; smart, mean, ungrateful, a coward, heartless. Making the decision to get off could be the hardest thing you've ever had to do but no one cares about the means, just the end. It's almost as if they want you to die with the ship rather than see you get off it and live.

So tell me, how do you get out of friendships, partnerships and relationships without guilt, pain and suffering? Or maybe it's just easier to just let it take you down.....

a collage

White dragons, phoenixs, blue bunnies, piglets, worms, cows, and mice. Ever wondered what would happen if they all met at the same place and time?

A bar-be-que.

detoxing a.k.a crapping

When you create an artwork with your hands, you would never think of the fingerprints you're leaving behind. The end justifies the means.

When leaves scatter at the end of their time, you would never have thought to see them til they fall along your path. Taken for granted whilst they graced your vision.

When a photograph is taken at random, do you not see the hidden passion within? One lens, a million opinions flow. To each their own they should just hold.

When blue is black, pink is orange, purple is cyan. Does it really matter when tones are the only things you see? We do not listen, we do not see, we make a judgment.

When rain falls along the sea, it is best appreciated at least for no one will complain for the lack of it, or the access of it. It takes things that we do not see to make us understand its true value.

When birds soar on the tunes of the wind, they glide with the smoothness of joy. You do not have had to experience to know when others are happy.

When irony meets destiny, you have a calamity. Is that necessarily a negative.

When I'm tired, are you? 'Coz I am. Empathy comes before sympathy.

When you churn out so much trash, you wonder where the source lies. Beneath, below, the dark, the quiet, the light of the night.
