Promises, have a time limit. The problem is, we are never told about this time limit or for how long a promise will hold. If you're lucky, it lasts a lifetime. If you're not, then you feel like you've been had.

Most of us expect a promise to never be broken. I now know (heck, it only took all these years of having it thrown in my face!) that it's only a matter of time. It's only a matter of time before a promise is broken.


Time is the devil's advocate and the root of endless enigmas :

Time never stands still when you want it to.
Time excellerates when you're having fun.
Time prolongs when you're in pain.
Time always shows the true nature of things.
