Christmas

You know... we say that when the festive season comes around, it's a reason to celebrate. And we also know that, most festivities have quieten down considerable over the past few years, be it Chinese New Year or Hari Raya. Not forgetting Deepavali in terms of celebrations but just the accentuated ones.

I'm just feeling a little melancholy for the fact that the very same seems to be happening for Christmas. Everyone usually gets really excited about Christmas because it's always so JOLLY and FUN even in a country with no roots to the actual event and it also marks the last week of the year.

Is there less to celebrate? Or do we just not have a reason to swim in the happiness that once was Christmas cheer? It's almost like Christmas spirit is fading... :( ALMOST.

Christmas, in Malaysia, has always been something that everyone regardless of race, age or creed could celebrate. Irrelevant of culture we'd exchange gifts and share in the parties that would mark the beginning of the countdown to the end of the year.

It's getting quiet... where not even a mouse, stirs.
